The National Evaluation and Testing Services (NETS) has launched a web site which is a very useful step towards utilizing modern technology to expedite the dissemination of examination results to school children. This is a creditable achievement in the activities of NETS formerly known as the Department of Examinations and is in keeping with the government policy of e-governance. This will enable NETS to future strive to enhance the quality of evaluation and assessment by improving validity, reliability, and accuracy of examinations. It will also facilitate the smooth functioning of initiatives such as the School Based Assessment (SBA). The web-site will be updated regularly, modernized further and made more user-friendly, keeping with the latest global trends in technology. The ministry while wishing all success to the National Evaluation and Testing Services will support future endeavors to optimize its performance.
